6/2(2+1)= 1 or 9

Hehe... there is a very confusing maths question.

6/2(2+1)=

What do you think the answer is?

1 or 9 ?

First, (2+1) = 3, so it becomes 6/2(3)=

Ermmm... should it be 6/ 2 = 3 x 3= 9?

Or 2(3)=6, and 6/6=1?

Haha... Do it left to right or right to left???
