Barbeque with SOJU

What is this??

Charcoal @ Arang for Barbeque... Well, i had owed many people this entry since like almost 2 weeks. Even the event organizer, Mr. Charles Lai is already back in Johor Bahru.

Hehehe... ok, it was April Fool's eve and everyone had decided to do a barbeque/ pot luck. In the end, Charles who was the most "Free" man volunteered to prepare all the ingredients. Where as myself and hubby as the venue provider prepared all the "drinks".

Melvin & Jeff were trying their best to start the fire after the first group failed this mission.

"Ada api sudah!" Charles went to blow the fire, trying to give more air to it. Well, this certainly works better than using the newspapers or cardboards to fan the fire. But, beware of your handsome face lerrr~ If there is a bamboo to use as a blow pipe would be just nice, that's what i used when we did our cooking using fire wood at the Bidayuh Villages.

Totally don't have to worry about the charcoal supply because "SOJU" @ Yong Jun has brought a big box of charcoal here, since their family is doing a charcoal manufacturing.

 The mission accomplished after 2 hours of hard work, the fire was ready for barbeque... Everyone was so super hungry by then. There were many prawns, sausages, beef, lamb, and chicken wings. But, i was too late and only managed to take some pics like this..

The prawns were very fresh, every bite was so crispy! But, only the shells left, sowie~!

 

It was perfect to eat with a glass of Soju Orange. Slurrrrpp!

Okay, gotto leave.. it's April Fool already, 12:00am and we were still talking and laughing out loud at the backyard. I bet my neighbor must be cursing us that night coz the next day was a working day. LOL~

What a wonderful gathering, thanks to Charles for those yummy marinated meat, and not forgetting Cheryl's scrumptious Potato & Egg Salad, Yum! Yum! Too bad i forgot to take a picture of it. 

We really should organize more of such activities in future..

Pool Party at Riverside Majestic

It's a Saturday night and the girls said we are going to a pool party!!
Errmm.... pool party? Where? Riverside Majestic...
Okay, who organized? What kind of event is that? How come, i'm a local but i don't even know that there is a pool party??!! Instead, my buddies whom are from different places of Europe told me to go??

Well, life is not just work and work and work...

Even for a married lady, your duty is not to just stay at home every day, cook, and clean the house and wait for your husband to come home...

Sooner or you will be out-dated, what will there be in your daily conversation with your spouse then?? Housework? The blown bulbs? Rubbish? Children?.........

Can you blend in when your hubby and friends talk about politics? trend or happenings in the world?

Once in a while you just need to take a break, hang out with your buddies, enjoy life, meet new friends, try new things...

Last but not least.....to be hardworking and make sure you are always at the best condition...

Cousins in Town

Hehe.. My auntie and her family flew from Brunei before Chap Goh Meh, it was so much fun with them around at my parents' place. My nephews got one more gaming companion--Adam, my youngest cousin. Autumn enjoyed playing with Uncle Yeoh~ while, i enjoyed the business planning discussion with my auntie.
First morning, we met at Yao Kee Kopitiam, Premier 101. That place was so super duper packed!! Especially during weekends or Public Holidays, people just love to have breakfast here.. and that included us, hehe...

The "好味面"Yummy Noodles i ordered took more than 20 minutes and never arrived, until they delivered the Kueh Tiaw, Bee Hoon, Kolok Mee, Dumpling, etc that mom wanted to take away for the boys and girls who are still building the castles at home. i asked her what happened to my order??!! That's why in the end i only ate 30% of the RM5 noodles...

The business there was so good that there were at least 6 groups of people waiting for tables. And behind us there was at least 6 people staring at our tables, "Quickly! " "quickly!", i could feel their heart-felt-cry, haha!

Hey.. this is Molly's "first time"!! She has never been to any night entertainment places before.
(let me tell you guys a secret, she's not yet 18, sshhh~)
Thus, i had to make sure that places we went were safe without any raids.... :)

We went to Terminal One, which my group of girl friends told me that it was having "Ladies Night" from 10pm till 12am. Surprisingly on a Friday!! But it's true! and it was so very packed!!
