Gawai Holidays!! Kuching-Miri Road Trip

Well, looking at my monitor on my unfinished posts, and my last posts of like 10 days ago..... I feel so guilty... Been so busy lazy for the past 10 days..
Gawai is normally the best time for us- Sarawakians, as we have the longest holidays that no other states have. Wesak Day>>weekend>>Gawai>>take leave>> Birthday of the Yang Dipertuan Agong.. So, that means you only need to take  3 days leave but you can go on a breakaway of 10 days!! Woohoo!!
Anyway, of course i had my holidays, this is because Autumn's school closed for the whole week!! So i had no choice but to take leave so i could take care of her.  Since i was not working, so i follow my parents on a road trip to Miri! hehe...
Everyday, i tried to update but this stupid internet is soooooooo SLOW....
i was too tired.. Excuses... lol... it's true...
Finally, when there is a will, there is a way>>>>

On 30th May 2010, Sunday. We started our journey at 6:00 am...

 This is almost 7am i think, the first picture that i took..

 
Then... started camwhoring but this time trying to fit all of us into the frame....

Daddy & mommy cannot fit in this pic of course!

Oonly myself (1 eye seen), Autumn, Ieson (hair seen), Bro & Ing, also Sheryl at the last row 

(OMG, my bro & sis were fighting to sit at the last row like crazy)....

Daddy used to take us on road trip all the way to Miri, even Brunei when we were younger... He loves his all his 4x wheel cars, and always bring them to different places, believe it or not, we have been to i think all the mini towns/ District/ Kampung in Sarawak already... 

Serian, Simunjan, Lachao, Sri Aman, Betong, Kabong, Debak, Jaggar, Tatao, Sarikei, Bintangor, Sibu, Bintulu, Miri, Limbang, Lawas, even Brunei > Kuala Belait, Gadong, Tutong, etc or as far as Keningau, Papar, Kundasang, Tawau, Kudat in Sabah, etc....

I had been to all those places & all those names are so just so familiar.... 

(cant remember all coz there are too many)

First stop>> LACHAO

This is our very standard "Must stop by" kopititam, we were shocked to see people mountain people sea. Every one is driving back to their Longhouses.....

The whole pedestrian street was also filled up by all these Bidin & Paku sellers..

Spotted!!! A "Lorry-ful" of humans, all heading back to their Kampong!! lol~

Next Stop.. many toilets or Shell..

Now we are at Jaggar>> The place for the famous GIANT PRAWN NOODLES

Here comes our order... this is RM18 per bowl, the price is based on the "SIZE" of the prawn..

Soooooooo YUMMY!! Slurrrrpp~ Worth it!!

Lazy to describe how big the Prawn/ Lobsters are... so just compare with my BB, k?

After that, we had to search for Petrol station that sells Super Unleaded 97.
So we drove to Sarikei Town...

Long time no see, the Pineapple is still the same.. 

(I remember when i was 10 years old, mom took picture of me posing in front of it, lol~)

We went to 4 Shell Station in Sarikei, and in the end we found on the way leaving Sarikei.. Haha.
