Damai aka Permai Beach

It was a sunny day, so we proceeded with our plan to go to the beach!! We went to Damai Beach during the weekend. It was a rare chance that the girls did not have any transfers or tours, and i did not have any events going on that weekend.
I was so excited! and Autumn was excited too!!
Well....at least i thought she was excited!
We parked at the Permai carpark and walked through the trail...

Finally, we arrived the Damai Beach!! Let's take a picture before we all get wet and sticky!

Hey! Let me cam-whore first!! I was so surprised!! Dick took a shot of himself first before he snapped us! LOL..

Hehe.. Finally, a shot of Mareike & me.. So relaxed and happy...

Tante Norma & us..

Tante Fabi & Autumn

Cool Daddy! "Why coming to the beach at such weather? Why trying to get tanned?"

Let's get wet... heading to the water...

A group picture before we all get wet...

Not again~ He just loved taking pictures of himself, right Dick??

Oh! I just loved this one!! look at the waves splashing up, how nice!

Finally, a good group picture!

I just realised when i downloaded these pictues into my PC, lol!!!
What's the opposite of Cam-whore? Cam-Gigolo?? Cute larr this boy!!

Look!! Michael is the next victim!
Asleep on the beach... Dick-the "Cam-Gigolo" went over and took this pic!!Artistic, isn't it??

Autumn was tired and moody coz she was teething.
She was not happy when her feet touched the sand when i put her on the beach!!

It suddenly rained and we had to pack and go. A family picture before we left
Thanks to this lady (i think she is a tourist?), who was so dedicated and automatically took us many pictures, first it was right in the centre and the sea was behind us, then the left side of the beach, followed by right side, and finally the last shot! Thanks a lot!
Well, I haven't been to the beach (or Damai) for ages, the last time was when i was pregnant, Year 2008 Rainforest World Music Festival,  Well, I went to RWMF for 8 years continuously except last year when Autumn was only 8 months old and there was H1N1 outbreak, etc...
Yea, i remember i took a lot of pictures that time.
Here it is!! Taken at the same beach- Damai...
This picture was taken  when i was pregnant with Autumn about 5 months,
together with my beloved sisters, Sylvia and Musha...
They are Hot & pretty, right?
Want their numbers?? hehe....

Sunny day = Swimming and get tanned

Woohoo~ Haven't been to the pool since last year! The weather is so good today, and so we decided to head to the pool. Let Autumn get familiar with the water and pool, so it will be a foundation for her swimming lesson in future..
Here we go....

Here we are at the pool...

This place used to be our every day hang-outs back when i was in high school. We came here every day, to swim, and dive and before the exams we would study in the library. Well, long long time ago when it was still a Family Club.

Now this place is a public pool, Adult per entry is RM5.50, while children below 12 years old is RM3.00. However, entrance fee for toddlers under 2 years old is waived.
Here is Autum & Mareike....

Haha.. I wanna put on the sunglasses as well..
Look at me! the Hot babe with sunglasses~

This is "Tante Jaana"

I want to get tanned as well...
Let me lie down like the anties...
This is Antie Norma
Now, let get into the pool!

Let's take more pictures before we are all wet..

Autumn is not afraid of the water at all...

Say "CHEESE~"
It is really a nice place to bring the children there during weekends or such a hot weather..
If you would like to get tanned, come at 1:00pm or something, put on your sun block and lie down on the lazy chair... There you go...
However, ass for the locals, normally the peak hour is after 5:00pm till 9pm at closing... That's the time after sunset, weather is very cool...
Now, let me walk around and take some shots here..

This is the Olympic Pool where you can do diving, etc...

Breakfast on a Public Holiday - DIM SUM

It's a Public Holiday today -Good Friday, and we had decided to have Dim Sum for breakfast.
I suggested to go to the Pullman Hotel, because i heard friends said they served really nice Dim Sum in the Chinese restaurant. But....I was not sure whether i heard the correct information or not, so we did not go with so many uncertainties...
In the end, we went to Lok Thian Restaurant's top floor-- 悦上海  Happy Shang Hai

We always come here for dinner, but this is the very first time we come here for breakfast..

Yeah!~That's what we are here for... The Dim Sum~

Lots of pastry like egg tarts and puffs, the various choices of dim sums look yummy too..

First, they serve you with a pot of Chinese Tea..

I ordered a fish porridge for Autumn..

All these dim Sum are for us~

Chicken Feet is delicious!

I love the Zhu Chiong Fan too, you must eat it with the Belacan paste.

 Pork Ribs with Garlics

Sio Bee is a very very common type of Dim Sum, but this one certainly is yummy!

As for the Har Kaw- the prawn inside is crispy and fresh..

Not for this Cantonese Meat Dumpling...
tasted very weird and we just had one and the rest let it be there... Don't ever order this...

This Glutinous rice comes 2 in a set, it tastes very nice with the char siew & mushroom wrapped inside.

Overall, this breakfast is satisfactory and we are very very full.
At least Autumn & daddy were not sweating... Parents with babies can come here for breakfast!!

Breakfast at Tong Lo Wan- Brighton Square

The weather was so fine...
Autumn woke up early as usual, but i did not go to work! So, we decided to bring her somewhere to have breakfast together. Jalan Song? Premier 101? Why not BDC area? All the suggestions were not approved, as these places are all without air-con?! In the end, we headed to Brighton Square- Tong Lo Wan, the main reason is its air-conditioned.

When you see from outside, it looks like very quiet and peaceful. You cannot see through the inside at all.

OMG!! This place was so packed... We were told to wait for a while before we could be seated. There were easily 15 tables with little children or babies, that is the reason why this place is so packed!! I am sure they all came here just because it is air-conditioned!!

Look at this mother, one hand carrying her baby but the other hand was busy eating.

Thid baby is on 41 days old!!! & he is sleeping so soundly in his granny's ;

Look at this little girl enjoying her ice-blended juice, while another granny was busy taking care of the grand-daughter....

We purposely ordered the porridge for Autumn but it was too watery i think, and it was quite hard to pick the stripes of ginger out as well.

Come, daddy feed you this porridge..

Har-Kow is very nice as well, the prawn is fresh and crispy.

I like the Bamboo rolls the most, it's yummy!!

This is the fried carrot cake, but it was too soggy and salty..

We left without finishing the soggy and salty dish...

Just one last shot before we left...
Just a simple thought, nowadays there are too many places to eat. Even in Brighton Square itself, there are so many choices. Everyone has the free will to choose!! Whether more convenient location, or better ambiance, fast and friendly service, more quality and delicious food, but from my observation today parents with little babies will normally go to air-conditioned restaurants. Babies can't stand the heat?? Or the parents?
