Sing U. Me @ Brunei Darulssalam

I am still awake, energetic at this hour... So, i must keep my promise and complete all my half-way blogs about my new favourite place>> Brunei Darulssalam.

It was a  Sunday, so my uncle, auntie and cousins could all go out for breakfast together....

Here we are... at Sing U. Me... very unique name...
Like.... "Say You~~ Say me~~ Say it together~~"

From outside, it doesn't really look nice..

But the food..... was Scrumptious! Yummylicios! Here i found the BEST+EST "Tomato Noddles"!!

Molly ordered this, and she let me try some...

Awwww.... Yum~ Yum~ I must come back to this place and order this!!!

Cantonese Fried Noodles....

Fried Bee Hoon...

Dim Sums... my favourite for breakfast.....

Char Siew Pau!!

The Nyonya kuih... & layer Kuih...

"Kiaw" or Pork Dumpling, that is Autumn's favourite....

Now that she is full, so she started walking around....
And the mommy has to go after her, so i took some pictures....

Wow! Actually it is indeed a very unique Chinese restaurant that looks a bit Kopitiam but very nicely decorated, and very Chinese Traditionally...

Look at the calligraphy on the wall.. I don't think many people can read those words....

Full house...

Look at all the empty plates....

One last shot before we leave this place..

Yay!! In less than 7 days, i will be going to Brunei again.... hehehehe...
Can't wait for that day to come.....

Shan City at Brighton Square

As usual, hubby and i will find a place for breakfast, or brunch or get together, family gathering with myself and our baby. Yeah.. we are busy every day.. Both of us rushing to go to work, while my baby is going to school every day.
So, Sunday morning is usually the time...
Last Sunday Yesterday, we went to Brighton Square again. It was 9:45am, hubby suggested to go to Life Cafe so i said ok. But, it was not opened yet when he arrived. So, i suggested that he should go the Shan City. This is the 2nd shop located at Brighton Square, next to Ipoh Town. I think i have mentioned about this area a few times, here & here.

Here i am.... Let's go in to find daddy.. Yes, Autumn and i arrived later coz we went from home..

I like the design of the menu.. simple, nice & cool colour matching...

Their specialty here is Noodles, hand made noodles.. Also the dessert, hubby knew i love bubu cha cha, so other than the Traditional Pan mee he ordered, he also got me the dessert.

I ordered this 3- layered Pork Rice, because I need to feed Autumn with rice.. dipping the pork into the belacan chili paste is sooo.... yummy!!

Here comes the Traditional Pan Mee... Huh?? Ikan Bilis & Money Chai??
The taste arrr.. not too bad...
But..... hubby said, "Geli..."
You know why??
Look at THIS!!

Wahahaha.... so thick and such a big piece of it!!
Anyway, this is the traditional style of making the Pan-Mee. I have tried eating this before, but forgot which town in Malaysia... So, i basically can accept this, but i won't order this next time i come here..

Another shot before we left.....

RJ Ayam Penyet

We went to a newly opened "kopitiam" for lunch, which is just opened for less than 1 month.

Do you guys think that this place is very similar with the other "Kopitiam"? hehe.. Yea, this looks exactly the same like Ipoh Town Kopitiam & Old Town....

Look at the crowd during lunch time, very packed..

The only thing that is different is the corridor to the washroom, lots of black & white pictures...
I like the guitar hanging on the wall, too...

First and Ever in Kuching??.... Raja..

Felix is ending his industrial training with me, so we are having lunch together & on me, of course!

Raja Ayam Penyet, i only ate the rice and chicken, also some of the cucumber as i did not like the other veges... too bad.. the chicken was a bit dried, tough but not bad for RM7

The fried rice was not too bad.. @RM7

Special tofu..

Raja Fried Noodles, with Ayam Penyet as well.. The portion is very big for a lady... only RM7..
A picture before i eat... hehe...

The place is located at Jalan Baharuddin, Kuching, near to the Police Station, go and try...
If i am hardworking, i will add a map here... but if not... sorry!! :)

Pork week

I was sick and kept coughing so badly for about 10 days after i came back from Brunei. It was so tiring, i went to see doctor, i had to take medicine but still coughed like a "Tibi" patient. Most of the time i coughed until i vomited, until i even had chest pain...
Even my poor baby also was infected by my virus. So i finally went to see the Chinese Doctor, other than those black-black Chinese Medicine he gave me, there are a lot of taboos. I must not eat any fruits for 1 month, and no chicken for at least 1 week!! Huh? Chicken? and... for these the first 3 days, i must eat nothing! except for plain porridge...... What?!
I was stunned, but i had to "kwai-kwai" said Yes & ok... So, i went home and started cooking this plain porridge and ate this whole bowl of plain porridge with plain soy sauce as my dinner...
The next thing i was worried is how am i gonna survive the next day when i went to work?
So i tapao plain porridge and ate in the pantry alone, to avoid any tempatation.. I felt better and coughed less...
However, i could not stand it anymore so at night i at a little bit of other dishes with plain porridge.. That night i coughed like hell... Aduh! So, i continued my plain porridge diet again...
Then, it was my "No-Chicken week"!!
Haha... Luckily i am not a Muslim, if not... what else can i eat if no chicken? I cannot eat pork? So, left Fish, Beef, and Lamb..... There won't be so much choices then...
There i go... everyday i had to target....where to eat PORK!!

Pork Dumpling or Kiaw

Honey Stewed Pork..Love the 3 layers!!
Ginger Pork Meat
